Originally I founded Ujazz Records with my brother Gary to publish the songs we had been writing. We released an album of these songs in 2005 and since then have branched out into other areas of music production.
We are now working with singers including Aynsley Murphy. Aynsley’s new single Call Me When You’re Home was written and produced by me and Gary and released by Ujazz Records in the spring of 2011. We also produced the video to accompany the track.
We also create music for the film industry and have written the music for several award winning short films. This led us to write and produce our own films. Coffee Chop won an award in 2010 for Best Drama Short. When writing music for film we work closely with the film makers and can produce music in any style and genre or orchestration which might be required.
We have produced several music videos and are keen to work with young actors on future projects. I am also keen to work with young singers who would like to perform my songs and release them on the Ujazz Records label.
Ujazz has also produced several Chillout albums including The Eight Strands of Silk Broccade, a new age music cd and East Coast Chill for use by complimentary therapists or just for relaxation.
